SUMMARY:

My practice has always been directed principally toward representing buyers and sellers of residential and commercial real estate, borrowers and lenders, closing refinance transactions for a large national real estate information company, and representing landowners in eminent domain and related matters. Though I have represented many individuals and companies, on January 1, 2009, I accepted a position as Assistant County Attorney in Harris County, Texas, and now represent governmental agencies.  I have heavy experience in real estate titles (from examination through title curative litigation), real estate contract preparation and review, preparation and review of closing documents, right-of-way acquisition (from the determination of necessity through closing or condemnation), Eminent Domain  (from the organization and management of a government office responsible for condemnation and the organization and management of a law firm representing land owners through the appeal of a case to the Supreme Court of Texas), ad valorem taxation from both sides of the docket, paving lien  from  their assessment  by a governmental agency through the trial of a  case and its appeal through the Supreme Court of Texas, mortgages  and other liens and many other areas of the law. I have extensive experience in the trial of many other types of matter in District, County Civil Courts at Law, Family Courts and Probate Courts.
